UNADVISED portrays the last contemporary witnesses of the GDR. Now around 40 years old, this generation has spent the first part of its life in the socialistic part of Germany, the other part in Germany of Unification. The documentary examines how the family history reflects and withdraws the development of the characters lives. Are they still influenced by socialistic socialisation and experiences? How do they feel about the country the generation of their parents has built up?
