A double Bill of classic comedy from Bob Hope. In The Road To Bali (1952) Bing Crosby and Bob Hope play two song and dance men in Australia who go on the run to avoid a shotgun wedding. Looking for work they sign on as deep sea divers to recover treasure for Prince Ken Arok (Murvyn Vye). They set sail to the Island of Batu where they meet the beautiful Princess Lala (Dorothy Lamour) and vie for her affection whilst attempting to recover the sunken jewels. Plus My Favorite Brunette (1947), baby photographer Ronnie Jackson (Bob Hope) has always wanted to be a private detective like his office neighbor Sam McCloud (Alan Ladd). When McLoud leaves town on a case he leaves Ronnie to mind the office, then in comes the beautiful Carlotta Montey (Dorothy Lamour). Thinking Ronnie is a real private eye she hires him to find her missing husband. - Or is he her uncle?
