Ben’s City is a new prime-time animated sitcom from French Canadian celebrity comedian François Pérusse featuring a crew of odd-ball characters living in a large cosmopolitan city.
Along with Ben Hardy, our thirty-something hero, is his girlfriend Sophie N’Guyen, his boss, Minister Wallet, his best friend Scott Garner and his suburban neighbour Mrs. Shrink, the newscaster, Edith Brown, and the reporter Gavin Von. Pérusse uses the pretext of everyday life to create an extreme parody as his characters careen from one bizarre adventure to another.
