A young Mexican mother takes her son on a journey through the Yucatan to reopen a dialogue with him, a rebellious teenager. She shows him the beauties of nature and the richness of the Mayan tradition to convince him to stay in his country and not go to live in the United States with his father, chasing false myths. After various ups and downs, arguments and reconciliations, both will have changed and will know each other better, regardless of the decisions they will make for the future.
