Peasantries

Emma, 26, owes an overwhelming amount of money to her roomate. Misanthropic but at the bottom of the barrel, she poses as a Medieval enthusiast to secure a job at the restaurant Peasantries. At the crossroads between fantasy and the harsh realities of the restaurant industry, Emma encounters an ensemble of characters as marginal as they are touching. After a series of strange events threatens to close the restaurant, the employees notice something special about Emma. Could she be the chosen one foretold by the Prophecy? Quite despite herself, Emma is thrusted into the role of savior, having to rescue the restaurant and its staff, who prove to be the most loyal and brave people she has ever met.
